A time for heroes

Beside a cornfield in a small town in Kansas, a quiet, unassuming boy waits patiently to fulfill his destiny.

Or for his turn on the slide, whichever comes first.

From the makers of Scarecrow 2010 and Gnome 2011, it’s Clark Kent 2012!

*Thanks to Greta for the invitation to Monkey’s first ever costume party! Super Toddler walked in the door this evening after the festivities, put on his jammies, announced “I SLEEPIN” then conked out cold.

  1. I seriously COULD NOT BELIEVE how cute he looked when he got out of that car. And then I finally got to hear him say Aunt Getta and I died. Cold. I’m so thankful to have you guys in my life. Thanks for coming all the way out here!

  2. I absolutely loved this! Boy does he ever look like his dad with those glasses! I love your creativity with his activities. But then Mawmaw might be biased…nah he is just that darn precious:) Counting the weeks til I get to snuggle with him.

  3. This is SO adorable! The perfect little Clark Kent!

Julie, I sent you an email from my work email but they sometimes go to spam. I would love for you to consider sharing your pregnancy and parenting adventures with the site I work for – so please check that email out and get back to me if you’re interested – I adore your candor, wit and fantastic writing voice! :-)

    • Hi Nicole,

Thank you! I was thrilled he acquiesced to wearing the glasses. :)

I’ve checked all my folders and don’t see an email from you. Thanks for the compliment!

      Julie

Thanks for commenting, even if Wordpress is mean and makes you provide a DNA sample in order to do so. You've made my day. Really.
