State of the Uterus Address – Week 15 #iPPP

I’ve always been a somewhat lumpy lady. I got boobs in 4th grade, and I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have a chunky butt. But there’s only been one other time in my life when I carried a round mound in the middle and that was back in 2010:

LOOK. HOW. PREGNANT.

I was huge. It was awesome. I mean, not so much for my hips and back, which ached like you would not believe, but awesome because I felt like I had grown a big, healthy baby.

This time around, things seem to be progressing at the slowest pace possible when it comes to the baby bump. We find out the sex in a few weeks and that seems strange, to almost be halfway and to still look like maybe I just had too many cheeseburgers at lunch.

So here it is, 15 weeks along (well, 14 weeks and some odd days when I snapped this).

You tell me: baby? Or fat?

Link up with Greta and me for this week’s #iPPP!

We always have a lot of fun with this each week, and you will too.

  1. Baby of course! I looked like this too at 15 weeks or so (and I was also VERY PREGNANT the first time round, more so than the 2nd time). You’re well on track and I can’t wait to find out if it’s a boy or a girl!

  2. I am the annoying person that loves being pregnant. In fact when we found out we were having twins (and after I freaked out) one of the first things I thought was, oh I won’t get to be pregnant anymore I bet.

    You look perfect. Total bump.

  3. What the heck?! How are you doing that? I popped at 4 weeks my second time around. People were coming up to me and congratulating me in front of my son…who we hadn’t told yet!! You look fantastic. I must be out of the loop and had no idea you were pregnant. Congratulations!!

  4. Lookin’ good mama! Be happy! Less time for your back to ache (oh my gosh did mine ever torture me both times). Excited to hear what you’re having… I usually have a vibe on these things and have only been wrong 1 in 17 guesses- but I can’t tell with you. I’ll need to just wait it out like everyone else… :)

  5. There’s definitely a baby in there (maybe a baby and a couple cheeseburgers?). If I remember correctly, my second did show faster but then as I progressed, my stomach just never looked as big as the first time around. Then the third was “how are you able to be upright?”

Thanks for commenting, even if Wordpress is mean and makes you provide a DNA sample in order to do so. You've made my day. Really.
